Olympus U-UCD8A motorized universal condenser removed from an Olympus BX61TRF motorized microscope that was in working condition prior to dismantling.

Unlike many U-UCD8A units offered as a bare condenser, this assembly includes three genuine Olympus DIC / Nomarski condenser prisms,

The Olympus U-UCD8A was designed as a motorized universal condenser for Olympus BX-series microscope systems, including BX61/BX61TRF configurations. Olympus documentation identifies the U-UCD8A as a motorized universal condenser, and the DIC prism system allows the condenser turret to be configured for differential interference contrast observation with appropriate objectives and microscope components.

Used condition with cosmetic marks, paint wear and signs of previous laboratory use as clearly shown in the photographs.

This condenser was removed from an Olympus BX61TRF microscope that was operational before dismantling. The condenser has not been independently connected to a BX-UCB controller and electronically bench-tested after removal.

The DIC prisms are physically present as shown. Buyers should inspect the detailed photographs carefully when assessing optical condition.
