This assembly forms part of the microscope frame’s high-precision motorized Z-axis focusing system. It incorporates the stepping motor, precision mechanical drive, ball-screw mechanism, guide system, position/sensor electronics and associated wiring shown in the photographs.

The complete BX61TRF microscope was in working condition prior to dismantling. This component was removed from that system but has not been independently powered or bench-tested after removal.

Removed from an Olympus BX61TRF microscope that was working before dismantling.

There are normal signs of previous use and disassembly around the mounting plate and wiring, as shown in the photographs.

The individual focus-drive assembly has not been independently connected to a BX-UCB/Z-control system after removal, so the listing should not claim a separate post-removal functional test.
