This is the external MedStream control unit / programmer used with the MedStream Programmable Infusion System. It is designed to communicate with and program a compatible implanted MedStream infusion pump. The implantable infusion pump itself is not included.

Function
The MedStream programmer is an external clinical programming unit for use with the MedStream implantable programmable infusion system. It is used to communicate with the implanted pump and access or adjust compatible programming functions. This programmer does not itself deliver medication to a patient.
Testing
The unit has been powered on and reaches the MedStream WELCOME screen. No implanted or test MedStream pump was available for complete telemetry or programming verification, so only the power-on function has been confirmed.
